Like like all video editing software, it can drain your computer’s resources, so don’t have a lot of tasks happening at once or your RAM will object. It doesn’t allow a few cool options, though, like motion editing, title template download, frames or download of frames, rotoscoping. Since it’s a Microsoft product, it doesn’t work on Macs, but for $49.99, it’s very affordable.
The Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 is a terrific video editor. It’s just as easy to use as Cyberlink’s product, and its editing tools are intuitive. From exporting and effects to story-boarding and split screening to DVD creation and file importing, the VideoStudio Pro X4 might be a home producer’s dream – if it weren’t for the fact you can’t edit 3D, DivX is conditional, only 4 audio tracks are possible, and it doesn’t work on Macs. The cheapest price at around $80.00 might be a little steep for the uninitiated, but for those who like Corel products, it’s an average expense.
