Free 76 High Quality Icons From Elegant Themes

Free 76 High Quality Icons From Elegant Themes

I’m still watching Arsenal vs Manchester United when i write this post. The score is 0-2, which makes me happy, because I’m a Manchester United fan. But that’s not what I’m going to share here. :D

Recently, i got a shocking email from elegantthemes, as i am one of elegantthemes members. For the first time, elegantthemes send his members a set of high quality icons which can be redistribute to other people for free! What an unusual moment here! Especially for those who are a web designers. This post should be useful…

This is email from elegantthemes:

I needed a few icons for a new theme I am designing, and after being unable to find any open-source/restriction free icons that suited the theme, I resorted to creating some of my own. After I started making them I figured, why not create a whole set? So I sat down all day yesterday and drew a set of basic web icon to be used here at ElegantThemes. Now that I have a decent collection I have decided to release them for free, so hopefully next time someone is looking for some stock icons to use in their commercial project they will have to look no further! These icons are restriction-free. Feel free to use and abuse them, redistribute them, resell them, or anything else you can think of. If you like them, then thank me by linking to this blog post :) Officially these icons are dual licensed under the GPL and MIT licenses.

60+ Creative Business Cards Design

60+ Creative Business Cards Design

Today, i’m going to share 60+ creative business designs from all over the world. Business Card is a card printed or engraved with a person’s name and business affiliation. They are shared during formal introductions as a convenience and a memory aid. A business card typically includes the giver’s name, company affiliation (usually with a logo) and contact information such as street addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. It can also include telex, bank account, tax code. Traditionally many cards were simple black text on white stock; today a professional business card will sometimes include one or more aspects of striking visual design.

I got this article from here, and i like those design very much. They are very creative & attractive. In my opinion, i like Filament, Realty & Jungle It! But actually most of them are very good. Use this article for your reference to make good business card. Enjoy!

43 Great Fractal Art Wallpapers

43 Great Fractal Art Wallpapers

In this post, psd-tutorial.com will show you 43 great fractal art wallpaper. The next paragraph describes what fractal art is. I often saw fractal arts in Final Fantasy XII game. They’re very beautiful & have complicated graphic design.

Fractal art is created by calculating fractal objects and representing the calculation results as still images, animations, music, or other media. Fractal art is usually created indirectly with the assistance of fractal generating software, iterating through three phases: setting parameters of appropriate fractal software, executing the possibly lengthy calculation and evaluating the product. In some cases, other graphics programs, such as Photoshop, are used to further modify the images produced. This is called post-processing.

These wallpaper are retrieved from this website. They’re all in 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution, which is large enough to fit your desktop background.

35 Great Examples Of Infographics

35 Great Examples Of Infographics

In this post, psd-tutorial.com will share about 35 Great Infographics. What’s infographics? Information graphics or infographics are visual representations of information, data or knowledge. These graphics are used where complex information needs to be explained quickly and clearly, such as in signs, maps, journalism, technical writing, and education. They are also used extensively as tools by computer scientists, mathematicians, and statisticians to ease the process of developing and communicating conceptual information.

The basic material of an information graphic is the data, information, or knowledge that the graphic presents. In the case of data, the creator may make use of automated tools such as graphic design software to represent the data in the form of lines, boxes, arrows, and various symbols and pictograms. Good infographics usually have good design, which supports their informations.

These are 35 examples of great infographics with great design & layout which i found around the world. Enjoy!

58 Surrealist Photo by Chema Madoz

58 Surrealist Photo by Chema Madoz

Psd-tutorial.com wants you to know about Jose Maria Rodriguez Madoz (born 1958), better known as Chema Madoz, is a Spanish photographer, best known for his black and white surrealist photographs. Chema Madoz studied Art History at Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 1980 and 1983. It is here that he was first exposed to the study of photography and imaging. If you want to know more about him, just visit his personal website: Click Here

I want to share his incredible works as i saw 1.782 comments from other blog reviewing about Chema Madoz’s works. Some words describing what Chema Madoz did:

Not everything is what it seems to be, and chema madoz (madrid 1958) ensures it’s evidence. Hidden among daily things arises new worlds.

New dimensions led by metaphor alters the perception of an immediate reality. The absurd, the paradox, the humor – why not the wittiness – are to be found at the photographers studio. The idea commences it’s process of superiority of the object and establishes a given discontext.

The irony with which madoz assaults recognizible objects creates a relationship with viewers that leads to paths of a parallel universe.

The photographs are not only the reflex of what was there (a luck of portable memory) – quoted by fernando castro – but also related to conscious of disapearing…. That their photographic metaphorisations inframe things of singular symmetry or make us focus in simple items, in points of view modifying real ….

Cristian caujolle underlines that the art of madoz is articulated by unreal objects whereupon behind their normal appearance, recognizible (an envelope, a glove, a matchstick, a pencil, etc.) Which are familiar to us all, hides a weirdness which yields new sensations avoiding to consider the photographs as dead natures.

See his incredible works & leave useful comments below to get free backlink!
