Gravatar stands for Globally Recognized Avatar. An Avatar is a picture / image that represents you when you leave comments or feedback on WordPress blogs. (to my knowledge, Blogspot does not yet support Avatars.) You can use any image to represent yourself, including your own photos, with the Gravatar service. All you need to do is sign up using your e-mail. I prefer using a design that draws on my Gravatar, but you can also use a photo or other image.
How do I create a Gravatar? To register, click on the image at the beginning of this article or the image at the end of this article. Register your email at Gravatar. When you comment on a WordPress blog, enter the e-mail you’ve registered with Gravatar, in the Email Address:_________ (will not be published) form. If you’d like to try it out, register now and comment on this article.
If you give a comment, but enter the email address that has not been registered in the Gravatar, then the picture may appear are as follows:
In addition, Gravatar also allows you to rate your Gravatar as G, PG, R and X.

sama sekali ngga tuh, soalnya gambarnya aja cuma sekitar 50 x 50 px, ukurannya kecil sekali. Menurut saya ga ada pengaruhnya sama sekali… :D
